UChop is a next-generation platform that automatically captures, analyzes, and publishes highlight moments from live video streams — within 1–2 minutes, without human intervention.
The system was built from the ground up by our team starting in early 2022, and we continue to serve the client as their long-term technology partner.
The Challenge
Before UChop, capturing important moments from live events was a painfully manual, slow, and expensive process.
Manual Process
A typical workflow required 4-5 people: one recording, one monitoring timestamps, one editing, and one publishing. Even with a full crew, the turnaround time was 30–60 minutes per clip.
Time-Consuming
The entire process from detection to publishing took hours, making it impossible to deliver real-time highlights during live events.

We engineered UChop into a fully automated, AI-powered system combining live-stream ingestion, instant transcript analysis, intelligent moment detection, automated video generation, and public publishing.
Live → Transcript → Highlights → Clips → Published (Under 2 Minutes)
• Live streams (via Mux) feed directly into UChop
• AssemblyAI generates real-time transcripts
• GPT + Gemini analyze transcripts to identify "interesting moments" with timestamp precision
• UChop automatically converts these moments into short clips using ShortStack
• Clips are instantly published on customizable Public Pages
